Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, and Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Wuthisuthimethavee, Vice President, visited Mr. Adirek Sripratak, Chairman of the Executive Committee at Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Co., Ltd., (CPF), on 25 December 2023 at CP Tower Silom.

During the visit, Professor Sombat shared information about the university’s current global rankings and discussed the operation of Green Farm - a closed-loop automated swine and layer chicken farming for which CPF has provided technical support and consultation for the efficient management. Layer chicken farming has proven to effectively generate income for the university.

CPF also expressed interest in study visit and cooperative education for Walailak international students at CPF facilities, aiming to enhance collaboration between the two organizations.
