SOLGEN First Discussion: the first activity of the English Club of the School of Languages and General Education (SOLGEN) has already started on Wednesday 11 January 2023 at Phasaphasan Room, Lecture Building 5, Walailak University. The activity aimed to serve as a platform for all students to share their thoughts and brainstorm on how English should efficiently be improved.
More than 60 students from different schools and colleges of Walailak University attended the club, such as the School of Liberal Arts, the School of Medicine, the International College of Dentistry, the School of Management, the School of Informatics, and the International College.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Walailak University’s Vice President, presided over the event and was a part of the judging panel in “the Best Presentation”.
Apart from exchanging knowledge and ideas, students also got a chance to meet new friends. Mr. Nay Ye Lin, a student from Walailak University International College, was selected to be the president of the English club and will work with SOLGEN in creating activities and improving students' English skills.
