THA SALA, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, 31 July 2026 — Walailak University, led by Mr. Suchart Chansamran, lecturer and researcher from the School of Accounting and Finance, organized a knowledge-sharing session for local fishery entrepreneurs in Ban Nai Thung Community on the use of an application designed to facilitate capital calculation and financial management.

The application enables entrepreneurs to calculate production costs and capital more efficiently, helping reduce potential errors from manual calculations. It also supports several functions, including selling price determination, production record management, material management and registration, as well as a dashboard for capital analysis and reporting.

The initiative demonstrates Walailak University’s commitment to applying knowledge and technology to strengthen local enterprises and support sustainable community development. It contributes particularly to SDG 2: Zero Hunger by supporting local food production and livelihoods, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through knowledge sharing and collaboration between the university and the local community.
