On March 2, 2024, young scientists from all over the country, totaling 63 works from 9 fields, presented their work and competed in the final round of the 26th Young Scientist Competition: YSC2024, at the Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani Province.
Moreover, the Center for Academic Services, acting as the YSC Southern Regional Coordination Center, and lecturers from Walailak University participated as the jury in the YSC project, totaling 3 members.

The final round of the YSC2024 Project took place on March 2nd to 3rd, 2024, at Sirindhorn Science Home (SSH), Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani Province. There were young scientists who passed the selection of the project proposal selection round from across the country, totaling 63 works. Additionally, the representatives from the southern region presented and competed 8 works from 7 fields, which were regional championship-winning works. They presented their works and answered questions from the jury, consisting of representatives from Walailak University and qualified individuals from the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) on January 26, 2023, at Walailak University. The activities of the YSC project align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG4 Quality Education and SDG17 Partnerships for the Goals.
Furthermore, on behalf of the YSC Southern Regional Coordination Center, we extend our gratitude to the judging panel comprising 32 members from 7 Schools who participated in evaluating project proposals, presentation rounds, and providing guidance for project development on January 26, 2024. Their crucial role in pushing developers to incorporate suggestions and recommendations to enhance their projects is highly appreciated. The judging panels were:
