Walailak University International Exchange Scholarship (WUIES) has received a donation of 100,000 Baht to support students in gaining experience abroad through short courses and exchange programs.

The donation was made today by Mr. Phairot Kidjaidiao, Managing Director, and Ms. Wararat Kidjaidiao from RHVAC SYSTEM ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED at the Honor Hall, Walailak University Hospital.

Representing Walailak University in receiving the fund were Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President; along with Dr. Mongkol Teerananond, Assistant to the President; and Assistant Professor Dr. Patnarin Supakorn, Director of Center for International Affairs.

Mr. Phairot Kidjaidiao said that it is a pleasure to be a part of this student support and the opportunity to give back to society. 

“We are fortunate to have Walailak University established in Nakhon Si Thammarat,” he said.

“And supporting students is something that I have always wanted to do. So, this will give them an opportunity to go abroad, gain new experiences, and return to help develop our province.” 

In November 2023, Mr. Phairot and Ms. Wararat had previously donated 30,000 Baht to the fund. As of 13 February 2023, the fund currently stands at a total of 486,000 Baht.
