Walailak University’s Dean of Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College received the Model Veterinarian Award 2022 in the category of Professional Dissemination and Social Services from the Thai Veterinary Medical Association Under Royal Patronage.

     Clinical Professor Doctor Suvichai Rojanasathien, Dean of Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College, received the Model Veterinarian Award 2022 in Professional Dissemination and Social Services Category on 23 November 2022 from the Thai Veterinary Medical Association Under Royal Patronage.

     The award was given to the veterinarian who contributed to society and made a positive impact on the veterinary profession.

      “I am proud of this award. It is an honor to me, to the institution, and the field of dairy cattle veterinary,” said Clinical Prof. Dr. Suvichai. 

     The event was very honored to have Dr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, preside over the opening ceremony and confer the awards. It was held at the 45th International Conference on Veterinary Science 2022 at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi.

     “I would like to tell everyone that our actions, whether positive or negative, have an impact on our society and environment” Dr. Suvichai added. 

     This year’s conference was held with the theme One Health for the New Era, to serve as a platform for sharing academic knowledge and research regarding animal epidemic prevention as well as resolving issues relating to human health, animal health, and environmental health.
